About Us — The J.M. Chamber Players

Our story

It all began over a decade ago when the idea was conceived of a new ensemble that would take all the elements of conservatory-level musicians and perfectly couple that with an ensemble that would be available to perform for a wide range of events. After performing hundreds of weddings in numerous quartets across the country, it was time to start this new ensemble. This was your typical musical group. Which leads to the conception of our name.

At JMCP, we wanted our brand to represent the top-notch quality you could find on a night out at the philharmonic or perhaps at a Broadway show. We built our reputation on having the best quality musicians in the industry, including those from The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music.

Thus, The “J.M.” Chamber Players were born.

Members of the JMCP all have classically-trained backgrounds from the top music conservatories in the world including The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Yale University, etc. Each of our musicians have 20+ years of performing experience under their belt so you don't have to do any of the heavy lifting. Unlike most ensembles, the musicians that perform with the JMCP have been vetted by a classically-trained team so that you can have peace of mind on your special day!
